I was up there today, weather wasn't great really as it was very heavy and humid.

Mary King is currently in the lead with Fernhill Urco; she did a very nice test, pity Duarte couldn't have been in her boots instead...

Took lots of photos which I'll upload later once I recharge it

I read WFP's website, he's farely pleased with how his went but he said that one of the arena's is a bit of the bog and in general, the ground is on the soft side, so I think they are all praying that it will continue.

Yep, I was talking to a few friends who were competing and they said the 1* area was dreadful to ride in. The 2* and 3* arenas weren't quite as bad though.

Their ground dries up very quickly though - I remember the first year they ran. The water meadows (first 5 fences) were seemingly under water the weekend before the event, but the ground was perfect by XC day.

Did you get sunburnt CM??

I walked the course and the ground wasn't bad at all - Just the dressage arenas are cut up.

Nope, I didn't get sunburnt because the sun was only shining occasionally.

Hopefully we'll get to meet up on XC day
