Hi, first day on here, use it a lot for info so figured I could ask all you lovely guys for help.
Have anyone used these Taurus Footwear holkham rider.
I struggle to keep my feet still in stirrups, take them out and I'm composed and planted, give me them back and I'm flappy flappy. I started at a riding school where they had beautiful thoroughbreds that you only had to squeeze, in fact HAD to be quiet on them. Now riding horses that need a good boot to get going and I'm not used to it, struggle to do it, and my weak ankles don't help. I need something supportive now, my boots and gaiters offer nothing, I jogged round to the stable and had shooting pains in my ankle. I've found in the past when I've trekked in Scotland that I feel comfier in the chunkier boots I wear, but they aren't really suitable for riding the sole is completely smooth. So, any comfy, shock absorbing, mould to skinny ankle long boots out there?
(I love the look of ariat coniston but haven't tried them on)
Thanks guys
