12 years old, resident at Isca Livery Stables Ponthir for over 5 years.
Ernie is great with traffic, cyclists and dogs. He hacks out well alone and with 1-2 others, although he can get excited in large groups! He has good stable manners and is easy to shoe and groom.
Ernie would benefit from someone with an interest in schooling/jumping but would be equally happy with a pleasure rider.
He is not suitable for a complete novice.
I have Ernie on loan from his owner for one year, but with the owners permission, I am seeking to share with someone, who ideally can be flexible with their days, for the duration of my agreement which will end in July/August 2015. It may be possible that an on-going arrangement with Ernie can be considered next summer. If you are interested please leave a message so that I can contact you to discuss terms and arrange a trial, although anyone wishing to arrange a loan will be required to book a lesson with a pre-agreed instructor at their own expense.
