My 4yr TB is recovering from an injury to her stomache - very swollen lump. The vet said he would like to see her turned out in the daytime from tuesday onwards - tomorrow. Thing is the field is down the road and would mean having to lead her up a very sloping hill
I am not happy turning her out onto the hard frost aswell as the ground was very churned up prior to the frost so its lethal!! i know the first thing she will do is bomb round with the babies and then they will be at risk from a fall too
Since she has been in she has slightly swollen fetlocks (back legs) and shes been in since thursday night (had colic) and only went for a very short walk to the bottom of the frosty yard.
Will she be okay in untill the frost has thawed??
