TB feet update

Moose had his xrays yesterday - just very flat feet and practically no sole. Also long but we cant take any off because there is none to take off. So he is currently on pads and next week vet is going to put gel pads on him. Then its down to corrective shoeing and trimming and these new carbon fibre things that are applied to guide the growth of the hoof. He is currently standing on pads kept on with vetwrap for a weeks box rest and then we'll see if he is coming sound. Fingers crossed!

sounds like my boy..... I have him on horsetrax pads and bar shoes..... have a look at the horsetrax site. the pads are nice and long lasting and can be refitted too!
