Tb finally putting on weight!

Yay! My 4yro boy has finally starting bulking up after all the extra feed, stabling, riding and hay I havnt got a 'terrible' photo of him as I didn't take many as he was quite donkey looking

This was summer

This was a couple of weeks ago

And this is today

still got some muscle to build but I'm very happy as suddenly I'm getting 'wow doesn't hunter look great' comments yday and today
He seems to have found 5th gear too when schooling and is going well over jumps no refusals! So maybe he's grown into a 5 yrold? ill let him off for being a stroppy teenager at the mo

Please show me your 4yro's and what your doing, I want some 'learner friends' as we're planning on doing our first ever show in march 'clear round'. Considering hunter is an ex racer and was a polo pony before I got him I'm very happy.

No more chucking off across the school then please?!

I'm struggling to put weight on my tb? What feeds have you used. I'm hoping I'll be getting the "doesn't he look well" comments soon

Thank you its taken a few months!
He's on;
Veteran vitality soak
Horse mix but now cool mix
Chaff (dengi or Molli chaff)
Calm and condition
Molasses
And carrots and hay!

He's in at night now and I think that's done it and with the extra rugging, as he was burning off his food to stay warm!

Well when he came back to the yard after being away a couple of months living out i got 'oh gosh is that Hunter?' Ermm no this is my skinny hair donkey
