Someone asked for updates on the lil racepone! ready for this....
Well hes been a complete star! Entered unaffl dressage at hartpury ......with the intention of just getting him in a comp environment seeing dressage boards the bell and all that jazz.
Well the week leading up hadnt been the best....... in short on the tuesday he was the biggest ignorant pig! napping bucking and stopping dead and rears...but over the next couple of days was bit better..... and right canter was just not coming on.
Anyhoo to the dressage i thought i wont push the right canter issue and just trot the movement to keep him chilled.
Welllllll in the warm up was a star no napping etc... working in nicely....went in looked down and was like oh look some random white boards as if he saw them everyday and went a proformed a sweet lil test for where hes at the moment in trainning. He got 59.09% ....... which i was dead chuffed with considering the minus right canter........ but got 7s for his left canter movements! He came 4th!! (ok was out of 6 but hey...... 2 worse
lol!!) so was over the moon with him.
On monday ....... schooling really sweetly ...... asked right canter....and got it first time!
pretty chuffed!
Today hils said she would jump him (test dummy lol! mainly cos she rides out at a NH yard so schools the hundlers and chasers ..... bit more experiance than me jumping that typ...and also ment i could get pics....... everyone else is not so great with my camera
