Teaching 'Over' from behind...

In the simplest terms possible, how would you teach someone leg yeild and ensure the hind legs are crossing not just the front end leading the way.

No technical stuff, just child like explanations please ;)
 
you start on a small angle and build it up.

take the inside track and turn the shoulders accross the diagnol very slightly then ask for them to move over in a leg yield. If they start to curl up you stop, walk straight for 2 paces, stop and start again.

Also do it VERY SLOWLY. you need to be able to stop as each leg touches the ground to start with. Once it's been learned you can speed it up to a 'proper' pace!
