Hello all , I've got a few questions for you wise people ..
My FIL is an ex instructor, he taught a lot in 60's/70's at Fulmer school of equitation (?).. he taught the likes of Richard Harris (one of the dumbledore's) to ride.. I believe his qualification is not AI but I .. he's said he has taken his AI and I, but obviously this was such a long time ago, perhaps it's not heard of now?
He has also competed at HOYS several times, hickstead, windsor and various other competitions - competed against the likes of David Broome, Harvey smith etc etc ..
He's worked with many types of horses, young to old, cobs to thoroughbreds even 12 Lipizzaner's (mares and stallions) from the Spanish riding school.. he is a mountain of information BUT the poor chap is stuck working at Asda.
As you can imagine, a chap with so much experience and knowledge need's to be doing something a little more then on security at Asda.. so can anyone help me find out about how we can get him teaching again?
He would love to do it but he just isn't sure how to go about it, apparently the BHS were far from helpful when he called them..
Any replies really gratefully received!
