I seldom post on here these days. So a few won't know Teal. Those that do he's looking grey now :( he's only 7.

But I'm mega chuffed at him today. Went to spot the spaniel event today at petworth park and entered him into the scurry.

Not sure how many ran but we had ticket number of 107.

Phone call on way home asking for us to get teals prize if we could !

Very chuffed with him. We have never entered a scurry before. Haven't done any dummy work or picking up for a year.

Self indulgent post over :)

Fencing up making track/ alley of approx 10m

Hay bales as hurdles

Dummy at end

Send dog. Timed from setting off to bringing dummy back.

Prob will just stick to entering odd one at shows etc neither of us are competitive. We had 4 runs. One of which he ran round the back out hopped over fence in to track ( cleared with good style must add) and then came back with dummy...odd dog.

Did a few other gun dog have a go stuff which he much preferred.

That always looks like fun - but I've never been brave enough to enter my daft bouncy poodle.

I took my 13 year old border terrier to a fun show and he got a special rosette out of something like 40 in the handsomest dog. I was in near tears, especially as he had a stroke about 2 weeks prior (recovered well though). I wasn't nearly as emotional when my puppy went BPIS at a show a month prior.

Your boy is awfully handsome :)
