A couple of weeks ago asked people to keep an eye out for an old horse of mine at Garthorpe, saying he may be the one going faster than the others.
Had an email off the girl who has him last night.
'Just to let you know, Bobs made it round the team chase, we jumped off in fourth place just to see how he'd be, but by the 3rd fence we were lead horse for the rest of the 24 fences, he certainly loves his jumping, was bucking on the landing over the practice fences. think the rest of the team was struggling to keep up!! we jumped drops, logs, hedges, hurdles, water, ditchs, and jumped him at angles, he loved it.'
Glad to hear hes enjoying himself - never bucked in the 4 yrs we had him!

He was a pretty good racehorse, won a few over hurdles and fences.
retired from racing because we werent sure his pins were going to stand up for much longer - I hope he stays sound for her. Shes knows all about his past problems, and is a qualified physio so fingers crosed.
