Technical Query

Please can some one help me with some technical stuff.
Not too good with computers but would like to have an avatar pic. The thing is how do I make my pic small enough to be acceptable. Also how do you use a pic in your siggy, without it being too big. Sorry but its really starting to bug me now that I'm not too good with computers

Ok, sussed the avatar bit, now just for my siggy

I have recently been through this whole process too!
The avatar bit is OK. The sig I found difficult because I did not have a good piece of software to edit the pictures to the correct size. If you do a search within the forums you will find other people's advice on doing this.
