I have had requests for more photos of Ted and I. Managed to get some still from a video took in summer, he isn't moving through very well as this was in his old saddle.

Pictures are blurry but CC is welcome, I was having to ride very defensivly.

You're very up his neck- it must be hard riding such a small pony, but I reckon sitting a tiny bit further back with considerably shorter stirrups would make you slightly less perched?

To be fair, I'm useless with crit and even worse when there are only stills. I can make a horrendous schooling session look amazing by freezeframing at the right points and an amazing one look god awful!

I did try to upload the video but I can't download it off my friends facebook :)

I do ride with shorted stirrups now

Your very on his neck, your very tall on him anyway, putting all your weight so far forward will mean he will be struggling to balance you/him, and would be liable to trip a lot more easily. Its probably why he wasnt moving so well, because he couldnt get his shoulder up and out the way very easily.

Move your saddle back a good 6 inches, and shorten your stirrups and really keep your shoulders back so he can use his front end.
