Teds gone for surgery. :(

Hope he's back soon, it will likely be at least a month though before he comes back
Im very sad, but when he comes back he'll be all mended etc.

He got to go in a very posh Horse Ambulance today.

While hes gone im going to scrub out his stable, and stable mats and give it a fresh lick of paint.

He went 3 legged lame on friday, and xrays on monday showed a Keratoma, and also a possible fractured pedal bone.
So hes gone to have surgery to remove the Keratoma, he'll be operated on next week.

You'd be surprised at how quickly they heal mine had a pastern artherodesis and two further operations after that and the longest she was away was two weeks. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery xx

Thanks everyone. He'll be having his op sometime next week, hes going to have more xrays tomorrow as the abscess burst today, so he could walk on it today, which means its prob not a fracture.... but will know more tomorrow.
