Anyone know where I can get a fitted ear cover thingy to go under the bridle (I'm sure they have a proper name, only I cba to think what it is) - catch is it's for a section A with a teeny tiny head and teeny tiny ears. He's got aural plaque which our vet has said to just leave alone (?) and he gets very fed up with flies dive bombing his ears. We bought a hood affair in 'small' and frankly it would almost do as a rug.
Any ideas?

Blimey not sure where you'd get a small one - have a look on ebay and shires....

One of mine waved his head around loads until i put one of those on for riding and it's made so much difference!

wow... i have a heard of welsh a's (or so it feels at the moment lol! 4 purebreds and half a one!) and ive been searching for teeny tiny welsh a type fitting things for flies for 2 years so if you find one let me know

(p.s. shires mini pony doesnt fit, the one thing i havent tried however is dinky ponies, who i believe can actually make things to order if required)

Depending on how desperate you are skewbald, and how handy you are with a needle and cotton, you can make a quite decent effort out of a pair of teeny babies tights, cut down. How do I know this I hear you ask? Well, a couple of years ago a group of us liveries did a ride to music/quadrille type thing as a display for an RDA fund raising BBQ. About 12 of us in the display team I think it was, 200 in the audience. Coz we were crap, we realised we'd better go for the laugh vote so we did the whole routine dressed up as Bunny Girls!!! One of the liveries made us all bunny ears to be pulled over our riding hats, made out of cut down babies' tights. Pink, naturally. We stole the show. And no, I'm NOT posting a pic!
