This month she has seafood flavour toothpaste, which we rub onto her gums and teeth, with a brush, fifteen seconds each side.

Believe me i have tried! Out of three dogs i can only do one properly! I have found that giving them rope toys to play with has helped a lot, suppose it acts as a floss. I still try with the other 2 one day i will get there.

Used to do my dog with liver flavoured toothpaste, it stank though. Now I'd be more inclined on giving those chew bones that do the job for you and lots of crunchy food. Cheese is a good thing to feed a dog and it cleans teeth too!

Don't brush the teeth on the dog but instead give him chicken wings.

With the cats we have recently got this new enzyme thing that you put a dab on their paw and they lick it off and it keeps their teeth clean. It is only new so not sure how good it is.

i have 9 border collies.
we once tried brushing their teeth and they hated it. so we dont do it now.
we compete ours at agility, and at the end of a show they get hyde chews which are brilliant for keeping teeth clean.
and also rope toys help
