Teeth mouth bit question

well im having abit of a problem with my mare 6 years of age when im riding her as soon as i take up contact she snatchs the reins out of my hand or brings her head in to her chest i mean not just a little bit everytime i take my reins i thought this would be her teeth so got dentist coming out tomorrow but if its not teeth what is it


forgot to add this is not normal normally very still never pulls or brings head in to chest

Could be a cut in her mouth, or bruised mouth, or even a knot in her poll, if you have a bit with poll pressure.

It says to me pain somewhere definately but could be a number of things, see what the dentist says but i would have a feel of her poll tonight and see if there is anything up there, press on it and see if she objects

didnt think of the poll thing will have to give that a go!
no i havent changed anything like bit bridle saddlenothing has changed she has a loose ring snaffle im not heavy with my hands ither when riding if anything im always told to shorten my reins
