Any teeth experts out there - Will compaction of the diastemata cause headshaking. Have a horse with both problems the compaction isnt the worst the vet has seen and does not think that would necessarily cause headshaking. This poor horse is running out of options with regard to headshaking and maybe PTS the teeth are a new issue. Its not what i want but sometimes it is the safest and kindest option and i havent got room for an 8 year old horse that isnt rideable sad thing is she is a sweetie in the field. Have done all i can with regard to the problem and am fast running out of money and hope. Just curse the people who sold this horse as sound and put a few hundred pounds before its wellfare and other peoples safety. Cant name names but they live in the Maybole area of Ayrshire and is allegedly learning to be an equine dentist. I am not concerned about the loss of money as that can be replaced but am really annoyed with low lifes who have no feeling for animals and safety of others but i am brave enough to do what they were not if it comes to it. Rant over at least it is off my chest.
