10 yr old warmblood mare got teeth checked and rasped Feb 17th this yr.Backman was looking at her and advised that teeth very sharp just beside where bit would sit which would account for reluctance to bend round leg.
Question is would it get that sharp in such a short while?

usually no but it depends whether any points were missed or not! These points can be quite nasty as the nosband will contract the cheeks onto the points effectively pushing the cheeks into them.

God feel really guilty now as also has a flash on !!
Was a bit miffed when guy said as thought I did get teeth done!
Teeth were originally done by vet who tho not long qualified has horses and tbh mare is not the easiest to do teeth. Can throw a major wobbly and is a risk she can go up on hind legs if feels really stressed.Vet handled her very sensitively and mare responded much better this time I thought.
Dithering now wether to go back to what I used to do and just use horse dentist tho know they can get it wrong too.
Thanks for reply
