When would you start having a youngsters teeth done? I've got a yearling who will be two in April I havent bitted him yet but I will look to put one in every so often once he his two I'll get his teeth done before I do this but I've felt his teeth and to me they feel fine if a tiny weeny bit sharp in one or two places but should I worry if hes not being bitted? He eats fine and has no problems eating or anything, or should I get them done in the new year, I was going to wait till april as thats when the others are done but should he of already been done before now as far as I know he hasnt been done before! Thanks

Unless the horse has a conformation problem such as an under/over shot jaw then teeth rarely have problems until the second teeth start coming through. So two and a half to three years is the time to start having them looked at.
