Hi, check out the BAEDT website; http://www.baedt.com/. If the horse needs sedating then you will need to get the vet anyway I believe.

she was in a right mess when i got her, she's only 12.2 sec b an was just skin & bone when i got her a year ago, i had a bad fall an wanted a pony to get my confidence back but she was the first pony i saw an the state she was in, there was no way i could leave her there!!!
One year on, i am still nervous an she doesnt want to be mounted, she has gone from being good as gold to rearing, a wee buck, spinning round and backing away so, teeth, back, tack first so any pointers on those would be a great help also!!!
