Teething horse and bad breath!

My pony is teething and his front 2 teeth are just about oning off, however his breath is really stinky 😷 and I pulled his mouth open to find a big chuck of uneaten grass/haylage, I think this is causing the stench!

Any ideas on how to get it off, he won't stand still long as teething is really hurting him, but I can't bare to smell his stinky breath haha!!

Another vet or dentist. Bad breath is often bacteria so he may well have an infection on top of what's stuck.
