teething...

My two year old gypsy cob has got a wobbly front tooth, its a baby one and all he does is chew things! including me! has anyone got any ideas how i can make him more cormfortable? and what can i give him to chew? obviosly i dont want to encourage him but at the same time he obviously needs to get rid of this tooth!
any ideas greatfully recieved... x

Not really advice to get rid of the tooth, but if he's uncomfortable you can use Bonjela, dentist advised me to use it on my shettie when his baby teeth were coming through.
 
I've got a 5yr old who is still teething - currently chewing his rugs (gone through 3 since xmas). I have used bonjela as often as possible. I also looked to see if there is anything around for teething horses to chew on like the ones for puppies - unfortunately I've not found anything yet. I've left a big heavy weight plastic bucket in the field for him to chew / play with. However he does seem to prefer chewing on the rotten branches of trees or my wooden showjumps - but obviously worried about splinters
