Tekna changeable gullet saddles!

So I have the tekna changeable gullet s line jump saddle. Bought it for my last pony and after recently buying a new horse I got the saddler out to check how it fit and was told I needed a wider gullet so with my saddle having a medium wide gullet went and bought a medium jump gullet but when it arrived the holes on the gullet were too small to fit onto the plugs on the saddle. The medium wide gullet has holes slightly bigger that a thumb finger nail but the new medium is about the same as a small finger nail so it doesn't fit eventually managed to use another medium gullet that has the bigger holes but needs to be returned to friend asap so had anyone else ever had this problem or is it a new style of gullet?
 
I'm lost here! You had a medium/wide gullet and needed a wider one so you got a medium one? Have I read it wrong?
 
If your saddle needs to be wider, why would you go from medium wide to medium? Can't answer questions re why the holes on the gullet are different, but I am also confused as to why you'd put a narrower gullet in a saddle that needs to be wider?

Yes I wrote it wrong! If you read my above comment it clearly stated I have a medium wide and need a medium as the saddles too wide
 
Just make sure you got the correct gullet. They have different ones for different saddles. I bought a Tekna Club saddle and the wide gullet I ordered for it was for the GP/DR series not the Club. The club gullets are much shorter.
