Tell me all about the horse world in Bromley/Kent

I may possibly be moving the ponies to kent at some point, probably around the westerham/biggin hill/warlingham area and I was wondering how horsey the area is? Are there any decent farriers and vets around? I do dressage, so are there any decent competition centres around? Any yard recommendations would be great, I'm looking for part livery. I know nothing about the area so any input at all would be appreciated :)
 
There are lots of yards round that way but I don't know too much about them I'm afraid! I haven't seen anywhere in the bromley area specifically I like or would go to though. Vets def bell equine without a doubt, we've been with them for about 20 years now and they are fabulous! Eddie Dennis is my farrier and is brilliant, again lots of farriers go to that way, I know who I would and wouldn't use but everyone has their own opinions on farriers so don't want to upset anyone! Cobham manor, oldencraig, Eaglesfield (and others I can't remember of the top of my head!) do affiliated dressage. There are also quite a few show centres for I affiliated dressage too! Pm if I can help anymore!
 
It's a long time since I was there but I assume it is still similar. It is pretty horsey although fairly pricey, there are lots of good competition venues esp for dressage. I grew up near warlingham it is nice but is gradually being encroached on by south croydon. The villages are gradually being swallowed up. I rode out north west Kent/Surrey border way for some years and there was a pretty active equestrian scene.
 
I keep my horses in biggin hill. I am on a small private yard but you have several good part livery yards in the area.
Heights stables in westerham do all livery and have a lovely school and good hacking.
Church farm and warren barn are of the same owners and have amazing facilities and they are in warlingham.
Cackets farm is in cudham and they are full livery but great facilities.
Glenfields has just come under new management and does all livery good facilities and excellent hacking.
Chelsfield area also has excellent yards.
As for vets bell equine is good I use lingfield and I swear by them they are fantastic. Farriers guy skippon is wonderful and treated my horse dizzy for her pedal bone problems I now use a guy called Nathan who is also brilliant.
Competitions you have eaglesfield, blue barn, Cobham manor, oldencraig and plenty of riding clubs etc.
the hacking in my area (Downe/cudham/keston) which is 5mins from biggin hill and 15 from Bromley is amazing and I actually moved back here because of it.
It's a great horsey area plenty of feed places bavistock/tremains/frogpool and plenty of hay suppliers.
 
Thanks so much for the very helpful response. Looked at Heights and was deeply unimpressed to say the least, also looked at Cackets which was lovely so possibly moving there. It's a really nice part of the world and I hope we'll be happy there :)
