A mares cycle.... time peiod etc. as recently I've realised although i've always ridden mares (bar one pony) I know so little about it and would like to know more in order to/deal with it/help my mares better.

any info greatly appreciated

Not much help from me but if you try this in breeding you will get some very good advice from very knowledgable people

Three days every three weeks from around Feb to October. They ovulate towards the last day, so best cover later rather than earlier in the three days.
