Has anyone successfully put down a non woven membrane onto well drained stony flat soil, covered with fibre surface? Hoping to do this at a yard and use as a temporary arena?!
I've not done so myself, but I imagine that it would be a lot of hassle for a temporary solution and be very difficult to keep the surface together and level? If you have well drained land I'd be inclined to try setting up a school on turf, as that would be easier/cheaper to maintain and probably ride better.
Thank you, we plan to put boards around the edges to keep the surface contained. It’s a ‘temporary’ arena so to avoid planning permission. We have managed to get second hand carpet fibre for free, just wondering the best way to put it to use x
