Hi
Has anyone any ideas how I could put up some temporary fencing on concrete?? The kids little pony is on minimum grazing most of the time and is in a small section of the field fenced in by electric fencing which I periodically move. However, I could do with him keeping the yard to keep it clean of grass

. However there are areas of the yard that I dont wnat him to have access to - the hay barn

, the road gate and the kids trampoline

. So some how I need to fix up some electric fencing but obviously cant push posts through the concrete!!! I am sure there must be some solution. I did think of putting the posts inside traffic cones but I am sure the little bu**** will push them over! Anyone think of a solution???

You could set some buckets or icecream tubs of concrete with a post in the middle.
A more permanent solution and flexible to allow access to the banned parts for other people might be this type of fencing http://www.tempfence.co.uk/?gclid=CI--hvK-gpkCFQ0gQgod4X5tlg for our chicken run, and over winter we have it going from their main run over the concrete 'yard' (well the bit outside the stables, hardly big enough to call a yard) to our fenced vegetable plot so they can dig it over for us. It's easily moved around should you need to rearrange things (though you may need 2 people to line the panels up to the concrete blocks), and you can get a narrower 'gate' section to allow access into the other bits, and is definitely Welsh pony proof..

i would recommend the harris fencing that someone has supplyed the web site very heavy so very impossible to push over
