Temporary/Instant Calmers for competing

e.g like SoKalm etc which seems to work best please- how much before hand does it need to be administered?

Global herbs So Calm is excellent. Give it an hour before competing, and it does really relax them, but keeps them really alert. Just play with dosage though as it is strong, but excellent for diluting any anxiety they have

I use Blue Chip Karma and find it works very well.

I have tried a lot of these, the only one which has worked on my horse was the Equine America So-Kalm. Brilliant stuff, really took the edge off her, I felt like I could have done a dressage test on her she was so fab!

I'd also recommend the Equine America So Kalm one..... but had to administer two hours before travelling and then it still didn't take the edge off till three hours later! However, horses second dressage test was absolutely fabulous!

Always had good results with Tempralax. Very expensive though!!
