Omg. I never thought I'd see the day that I'd possibly ride a pony again.

Old girls retired and baby is going to be backed in March. So going to try 2 horses on Sunday just to get some riding in before getting on my baby.

1 is a pony I knew 10yrs ago 14,3 ish new forest but very stocky. Only 2 mins drive from my yard and near some amazing hacking

The other is 16'3 green 8 yr old but 25-30 mins drive away but also with good hacking but I don't know any routes.

I'm thinking the little man will be the easiest option as he's closer. So watch this space. Pony squishing times maybe a head.

I'm 5'7 but with long legs

I've had my mare 13 yrs. have ridden a couple if ponies in that time but only a handful of times. Though she's 15'2 she has high withers and is a Connie x Tb but more like an over side Connie so he might not feel too small

I'm in shock though I'm being offered horses to ride left right and centre. If you don't ask you don't get seems very true :)

Go with the pony squishing! My favourite ride at the moment is a lovely 14h connie.
I'm 5'8" and my legs hang below his tummy. :)
