Awaiting outcome of my reporting lexibel's delightful little post to me in Latest News, I am going to save myself some time and money by clearing off, until I find out whether there is any justice at all here.

But you only just got here! Scraps on here are not uncommon, it's OK to fall out. Please don't leave over something so minor, it's swings and roundabouts, I for one have enjoyed your postings.
 
No, been here years, had to reregister!
And not leaving permanently, just want to pause and see how they react.
Taking some time out sometimes helps.

Having read the post I'm unsure as to why you find lexibell so offensive when you have been bantering, sorry, debating with many users repeatedly thro the same post?

Surely this forum invites debate? You cant make your point(s) multiple times, then throw your teddies out when someone else has a go? Are you restricting freedom of speech??

I think clearly, I must be in the wrong, but to me, it's one thing to debate, I'm almost sure I've not said anything directly personal like 'you disgust me' - that seems to me to be entirely different, but that's why I think it's best to go (which I keep trying to do!) because if I am the one seeing this askew, then I should probably just step back.

Well you did think that Jan Moir's cruel, homophobic lies about a dead person were OK because of freedom of speech...Perhaps now you see the point, i.e. when you try to insult people, it is insulting!

I woulden't take it personaly, why take much notice of people who support and follow the sad false and vacuous world of these 3rd rate celebs..???however its great that there are other views on life even if they seem a little strange or left of whats sensible, and its fun to throw in a grenade every so oftern

SA is right to a certain extent if you stand back at the very big picture we live in a PC gone mad generation. I don't see how anyone is surprised that some numbskull has written a high profile offensive article in attempt to draw attention to their extremist views. However we live in a democracy so that all of our views can be heard whether right or wrong.

But we really do need to take these views with a pinch of salt - the more attention we draw to such things the more self gratification the perpetrator receives.

You are doing the right thing to step back from this storm in a teacup before it blows out of proportion but please do come back SA. I for 1 have grown to value your opinion.

Stephen Gately was a very easy target for these idiots. I was a life long fan and don't feel that he deserved this - a very unfortunate side effect of our celebrity nation.

I have to agree with this. You either support free speech or you don't. If you truely do support it then you have to take the rough with the smooth. If you are unable to do this then you are not enough of an adult to enter a debate.
 
Don't let them grind you down! I thought your posts were a breath of fresh air personally - would be a shame if you left Skewbald.
