I just got back. I only went in a photographer capacity (loading them onto photobucket now) so will get them up as quick as I can.

It was VERY muddy!!! As we got back to the lorries the heavens opened, it was torrential!

oh was it, my friend went up their today for a clinic, you wouldnt think it would be muddy with how hot it has been lol.

omg it was a nightmare! boss very wisely went home, me, ester, shazzababs and two of my friends braved the thunder and lightening. My boy was an idiot and bronced all the way round! shazzababs' boy also decided airs above the ground were more fun than xc! So I'm not sure how successful it was a xc training mission! I shivered all the way home as was soaked. I think the moral of the story would be (unless ur ester and frank) don't go xc in a thunder storm!
 
It was so wet! I was so glad of my 'incase of falling in the water jump' change of clothes, but definately need a bath towel stored in the lorry. Had to remove the torrents of water from my hair on my discarded jods!

Fitz was really hyper and I didn't get home till 10.15! I just turned out and went to bed. The lorry is sopping wet inside, gonna have to do some serious power washing at the weeked.

Off to gallery to look at photos. Furtunately the airs above ground were behind a tree so there shouldn't be any photos of those!
 
I was gutted to have to go back home, especially as was all ready and had paid! But I did not want to ride in that weather- the thunder and lightning was really scary!
Poor Moon was a quivering wreck just stood on the lorry
 
u were wise to go home boss believe me, the thunder and lightening did nothing for freddies nerves and iv never seen him load so quick to come home, he ran straight in the trailer without me! I was so cold and wet and it was not a good first outing for fred he was all over the place, t got on him and he was even worse for her had to lead him back to trailer and he got zapped by the cattle wire on way back! he says he never wants to go there ever again! Shazzababs I need ur address to send ur studs back they r sat on my kitchen table! Pm me!
 
think you had the right idea boss, would have come and said hi if I wasn't going to get very wet on the short journey to your lorry and it was right on top for a time.

) lorry but its fine when you are out jumping in it.

I think he'd just worn himself out getting in a stressy welsh tiz in the lorry so couldn't be bothered anymore, though I think a lot of that was cos he had got hot and sweaty on the way and wanted a roll. (he had 3 of those in his stable when he got home!)- happy pone.

Thanks everso for taking me shazzababs, I did enjoy it despite the weather and apologies for naughty welsh ponio.
 
Apparently shazzababs doesn't dislike him that much then despite his attempts to walk through at least 10 times!
