Well im looking to invest in some new SJ tendon and fetlock boots - atm im jumping in my huge unsightly boots bought for eventing and feel they are a little big and heavy for him.
Preferably not too expensive as im on SUCH a tight budget atm

Any good recomendations? Open fronted preferably and something that wont heat the tendon as i find a lot of them heat the leg up.....

I have sabre leather tendon boots- dont wear backs. If you are on a budget look on premier eqine's website, I have some of their tendon boots and I think they are really good. x

echo the eskadron fluffies that Lisa reccommended to me a few months ago they are fantastic! Look smart and are hard wearing!! I have just invested in another set for my other horse as they really are excellent!!

I use WoofWear Pro's on both my boys. They're about 2/3rd's the price of the Eskadron equivilents, and pretty much identical apart from the label.

BTW....Has anyone ever wondered just how much use the fetlock boots are

I use them on my horses at shows, but rarely at home to jump, and I don't really think either of them actually need them at all

Re: Rambo - i've often wondered about that too but then when i lunged my boy the last 2nights hes really been hitting his back fetlocks together and he went lame not so long ago because of a heated fetlock - so think hes def a horse that needs them

I have BR boots, theyre from the netherlands and essentialy the same as eskies/masta/all the hard shell boots. Obv theyre only on as long as they need to be and very easy to wash and take care of.
Regards fetlock boots, IMO theyr the most important boots for my horse, you can hear him knocking when he turns/circles on the lunge and the scrapes on the boots are incredible! Hes jumping around the 1m+ so often leave him barelegged in front so he can learn..
