As per title really. I'm just back eventing after a long break and slowly upgrading all my kit. I've been making do with boots for SJ but would like to get new ones now. There seem to be some very moulded looking ones, soft ones, leather ones, fluffy ones....

I liked the look of the Mark Todd leather ones (in pics only, not seen them close up) but not sure if you lot have better or different recommendations?

One horse has normal-ish legs, the other is a 15hh TB with legs the width of bamboo skewers

so they might need different ones !

I have Ariat leather tendon and fetlock boots which come with removable rubber and fluffy lining. I really like mine and they look good too

I'm also looking for some good boots, and have seen & heard of the New German GEL INLAY tendon & fetlock boots, Any good???

Do the liners wash then? My only concern with leather is that they can't go in the washing machine, and as most winter SJ will be on a surface, I have visions of particles getting stuck in the lining and rubbing.

Not seen the ariat ones before, where sells them?

John whitaker ones! They are fab!!

Or tri zone ones, they are really nice, but i find the fetlocks a bit annoying to get in the right place.

Yeah the liners are velcored to the leather boots so you can choose whether to have fleece lining or rubber/neoprene lining.
I think I got mine from Burgie Horse Trials and my mistake they are made by Treadstone
