Hello again!
For those of you who may have missed my previous post my youngster decided to trash straight through the electric fence and got a bit tangled in it resulting in a swollen tendon on his near fore...
I'm not convinced that it is his tendon anymore as the bowing of the tendon has gone right down but the leg from the knee down, for about 3 inches, is swollen and has no definition i.e. it's just one big straight hot block with no curves (hopefully that'll make sense!!!)
So, anyone have any ideas as to what he may have done?
He's still on box rest with a bit of bute, bandaged, and cold hosing / cold wraps / etc - not necessarily in that order.
I've the vet on 'stand-by' to come out Thursday if no improvement but thought I'd ask you knowledgeable people if you had any ideas?!
Thankies in advance.
