Tendon injury..

..is it possible to do a tendon in the sable? Shannah was jumping the other night, amazing, then the next day he had a big leg.

The vet said it was a deep flexor tendon tear-but then saw a cut on his leg, which maybe took that idea away.

There is heat in it, but its moving down the leg, he is as sound as a bell and feeling very good in himself.

Does it sound like a tendon, or could it be a infection??

If he's done a tendon the chances are he did it jumping. It can take up to 48 hours for the damage to become apparent. Fingers crossed its not.

You need to get it scanned to know if the tendons or ligaments are damaged. As Guildford says it can take up to a week for the full extent of damage to show. Best of luck!
