Tendon issue and shoe issue!!!!!!

Iv just attached a post about my mares box rest after tendon injury she has just been shod with the hope that she will be coming backl into work soon but if she is signed off for more than another 4weeks would you have her shoes taken off or leave them on ????

me too as shoeing can sometimes help support the tendons

My horse was on box rest for 6 months and the advise was to leave the shoes on as you don't want to alter the anything in the foot/leg which may affect the tendon.
