Hi,
My 5 year old had a freak accident at the start of the year, and has not been right ever since. He was bone scanned last week, and x rayed and had an ultrasound - the final diagnosis was that he has an insertional injury of the left superficial gluteal muscle. 2 months box rest (although have been advised that this is a fairly conservative estimate, and also a very obscure injury). Was today told that long term prognosis is good, but that I shouldn't expect him to return to full work for approx a year.
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this injury, and return to work etc..
Thanks in advance
