tendon paints (circulation enhancers)

My Horse twanged a tendon and i had her back on restriced turn out in under 2 weeks. I was lucky enough to have a physio on my yard who advised the following which i followed to the letter and have done my first (18inches!!) comp on 12 weeks later:

Tendons hate restriction, so although our natural instinct is to lock them up you should still be walking (medium walk) them on solid ground, also 20 minutes hosing, and after about five days spray on some deep heat spray (stuff from savers or Tesco is fine). Also was told not to bandage but to use magnetic boots on both legs.

Hope this helps!

I box resterd her at first and gave her bute for a week with cold hose twice a day and ice boots on. the swelling reduced alot and She is back out in the medi paddock now (as of yesterday) spoke to my vet again and he said to now try a "tendon paint" (must be similar to deep heat) to encourage the circulation and enhance the healing. give her 4-6 weeks off work then start walking her out everyday.

iv never used anything like that so thought id ask on here if anyone can recommend one. im assuming deep heat does the same job?
