my horse stumbled out hacking a few weeks ago and has been very lame since. the vet has said it looks like tendon sheath effusion and he is off for scans soon. i am after hearing other people experiences off this as i have no idea what treatment entails and if i will ever ride him again. he is 17 and spent most of his life as a western horse. he jumps and does mainly hacking with me. would appreciate any comments
