What kind of horse is friend looking for? There's a superb intermediate mare in my yard who's jumping ability caught pip funnell's eye at an event.

Horse is for a capable 16 year old. I will PM you her name so you can look her up.
They recently bought a good horse that reared up on the 3rd day they had it, turned over and killed itself. Last weekend they were keen on a horse, to find it had been previously sold for a 1/3 of the asking price as it's hocks were gone, had been medicated and was back up for sale.
Mum is BHSAI, horse to live at home with 2 others (the 2nd horse did a suspensory last year and has just had op). Child is huge, not at all fat just very tall (getting on 6ft with very long legs) so horse has to be above 16.2.
Child has been best friends with mine for last 10 years and mum is good friend of mine.

OMG How horrific! I know these things happen but it is till a shock when they appen to people you know! A friend of mine had a horse killed by a lightening strike, knowing it is rare doesnt make it any less traumatic
