tension for worsley clippers??

as title really
may need to use a friends worsley clippers tomoro as ive got two large horses to do and she wants them doen in medium blades and all my fine ones are sharp but im unsure how sharp my mediums are, so taking friends clippers just in case mine are not sharp, i asked her what the tension is i.e mine i do up as tight as poss, then 1.5 turns back, i did ask her but she never clips her horse so didnt really know herself!!

What model are they? I have Wolesley Swans and Liveryman Mustangs (basically the same as Wolesley) and they are both pretty much as you have described, I tend to go by ear a lot though, you know when you hear it pick up speed you've reached the right tension!

ok thanks, if they cut fine will that mean ive got the tension right??
im hoping mine will be fine but better be prepared!!
