Whilst showing @ windsor on friday, my friend and I stopped by to watch the tent pegging...love it, think the skill involved is brilliant.

Whilst watching, a team came in, started...2 of the 3 went off but one dark bay horse looked a bit withdrawn (a look my old mare use to give...the quiet before the storm look) then suddenly reared up, got caught on the fence and the lady on board came off... horse landed in a heap however both did get up but looked rather dazed and shocked by it...

My reason for posting...was just wondering how horse & rider were doing...really felt for them (((hug)))

it did look very painful...hence the post, friend & i kept bring it up on the way home...wondering how she was

I was there too, in fact thought the horse was going to land on me but I do remember seeing the lady walking off with her supporters and she seemed fine. The horse also did not seem lame, although I bet his legs hurt a bit later on.

Sometimes the occasion just gets to them. We were there on the Saturday also and I would really like to know how the poor guy is who came off in the Main Arena during the Parade of Services Teams. The horse reacted very badly to the noise of the crowd and fell very badly on top of the rider. Anyone got any news - we were really worried.
