terrible bank holiday!

well i spent all weekend trying to prepare for a show yesterday and i had an utter disaster....

slept through my alarm so was bout half hour late waking up
then pony wouldnt load and took half hour to get her on the trailer
then did our dressage test (pre 7) which wasn't great but 1st test on grass and 2nd ever prelim so hay-ho
then showing classes... hunter class was ok got 3rd from last but the others in the class were very nice and showed very well!
veteran class pretty pants got placed last behind horses that i thought i shouldnt hve been but hay-ho thats showing...

THEN
loading to go home took 2 and half hours and once one fliss thort it a good idea to jump over the breastbar and out the trailer.... (obviously a flexible veteran)

SO after last, 3rd last and last and awful loading fliss is still at a friends farm in the same village as the show as she had to be hacked there, where she proceeded to may another bid for freedom!!!

BAD day all round!

Oh no! From the following bid for freedom I assume she's ok after the loading incident?

I had a pants bank holiday too, resulting in two black eyes!

I hope you can get her home soon! I trailered my mare to the vets once, she was always an angel to load but for some reason it took 6 of us in the carpark to get her back in again, it was pretty embarassing!
 
i have now got her home and is as sound as a pound with no heat swelling stiffness etc!!! so lucky but i'm still going to give her the rest of week off...

i read ur account of ur problems that sounds really painfull!!!! hope ur ok x
