Millie the mongrel has blotted her copybook big style today!

She has escaped twice, and it is only by sheer fluke that we realised in time.

First time she was out with the other dogs, saw something small and fluffy and was straight through the stock fencing which surrounds the dog garden and down a rabbit hole. I was there as I heard the other dogs doing their 'I-can-see-something-small-and-fluffy-and-I-want-to-eat-it' bark and went to see what was going on. I dragged her out of the hole by the tail and put her back in her own run, secure, or so I thought!

A little while later OH stood up and saw Millie running down the farm track towards the road :o He called her back and we put her back in her run. We can only presume she had scaled the 5' solid fence at the back of her run. OH has now put chicken wire over the top of her run to foil her escape!

Here are photo's of the little darling! You can see the English Bull Terrier nose, eyes and ears, but goodness knows what else she is! She doesn't seem very old either judging by her teeth. Her old owner had her a year and had 'inherited' her from someone, so I presume she is about 18 months to 2 years old.

Doing what she loves most of all - tug of war with a popped ball!

And showing off her lovely sparkly teeth that have been clamped round OH on several occasions before we brought her home!

Oh God, 5ft would be nothing for a bouncy dog, our exercise run fence is over 6ft and *someone's* :p staffy-x can get over it with a single bound, believe it or not...think your OH needs to get the tools out :p
My two would be able to get out if they took a good run at it but they are a bit simple :p

Beautiful dogs, I love terriers, they have a happy gameness which I adore!

But agreed, you'll need to up those fences, my old springer x used to get over 6ft walls - bounce...clamber...over!!
