As the title says, still struggling to get a good fit for my lad, read somewhere that these rugs are ok for the price, just wondering what sort of fit as I don't want over wide at the shoulders, I think I will end up with a horseware but would be interested on people's thought on these for a cheapish spare.

Thanks for reading

My friend uses premier equine, thinks their rugs are great and excellent value - I will be trying them for my next rug purchases!

yes I have put the name in google and they seem to be well recommended. But I bought a weatherbeeta 6'6 which is great in length, horrendous around the neck even at the tightest fitting just too generous. How do these rugs compare around the shoulders can anyone tell me.
They do look great rugs at a good price- fingers crossed they are the fit I'm looking after.

Thanks for the replies so far- you are all very helpful what would we do with out this site- probably get more housework done for a kick off!

Think the Tesco rugs fit very similar to Shires. I have a weatherbeeta turnout rug that fits my horse nicely round the neck, he is currently wearing a Tesco stable rug and I would say it is more generous around the neck than the Weatherbeeta if that is any help to you.

Their indoor rugs and other stuff are great value for money though. Have long since been a disciple of Fal but with the new horse didn't want to spend a packet until I knew if he was a rug wrecker.

He's now living out in a Premer Equine 70g (£50) plus a Rambo Duo 300g liner (£30). The P/equine is very deep and fits a treat. Seems well waterproof too, no signs of it having leaked after last night's deluge.
