Promise this won't turn into a daily blog but I am so proud of how she got on today. Given that she's only ever lived on a farm (as far as I know) and is very people shy I wasn't sure about plunging her in the deep end. Weather pleasant so I knew it would be busy out.

First we went to the stables where she was very brave and met lots of people. Not at all phased by horses - just a healthy respect

Then we went for our first proper walk

During which we stopped to admire a view and look at the big world out there to be explored together

I was just wondering how to tactfully mention about the risk of letting new dogs off lead when I saw that second pic, then realised she was tied to the gate.:o Glad her first day went well, looks like she knows she is onto a good thing. I envy you your views too.

What a lovely girl. Glad you're having fun with her. Don't worry about posting lots of pictures. I remember when I first got a dog about 2 1/2 years ago and couldn't stop telling everyone about it. Now I have two and regard them as smelly towrags. Still love them though. :D:D:D

Lol she's a bit flighty just now so we actually had two leads on. Need her to bond to me a little more and meet/survive a few scary things yet.

Another big day tomorrow as we meet some clients!
