So have spent last three weeks doing recall recall recall and today (after many trials on long lines and extending leads and a a couple of tester sessions with dogs I can rely on) Tess got her first taste of total freedom!

I know how you feel, we have just started to let our Border Terrier off the lead, he is four months old and we have had him for two weeks tomorrow. I go out with a pocket full of treats, and so far so good.

You must be well pleased that your hard work payed off and it would pay to not take her any where exciting until you have perfect recall every time.

Lovely photos.

No, I am sticking to the walks that we do all the time with the dog walking dogs so that she kind of knows where she is and where the car is. She is coming back every time just now but I'm kind of expecting a blip somewhere along the line. It is so satisfying to see the hard work starting to pay off though!
