Our lady who comes and does FECs on site was talking about the saliva test for tapeworms recently. She said there have been quite a few false positives, because once you have eradicated the tapeworm the protein marker remains in the system for some time - she didn't know how long, maybe Borderriever knows more? SO what she was saying is if you are going to use the saliva test, use it PRIOR to worming, then leave it for quite some time before re-testing, I'm trying to find out how long. Anyone know any more?

I believe it's recommended that you don't test within four months of using a tapeworm wormer? Which shouldn't be a problem as most people only use tapeworm wormers twice a year.
