Hello,

does anyone know where and how I can get the hay tested for Mycotoxin? I have heard that can cuase liver damaged and my horse is currently been diagnosied with chronic hepatitis and the vets are un sure as to what has caused it??

any info would be a great help :)

You can get your hay tested by Dodson & Horrell, ring them & ask for a kit. There seems to have been alot of liver problems this year related to hay. You can feed a mycotoxin binder which sort of mops up the mycotoxins.

Really great thank you. I am going to kick my self if it is the hay it has cost me a fortune in vets bills. What is this binder stuff then?
